Meet Shawn Pullum

Shawn Pullum is the Lead Attorney for the Pullum Law Firm. He is a legal generalist and an Intellectual Property law specialist. His current practice areas include Business Formation, Contract Development and Review, Cybersecurity, Civil Litigation, Data Privacy, Family Law, Wills, Estates, and Trusts, as well as all areas of Intellectual Property Prosecution and Litigation. He combines all of these areas and more into his Outside General Counsel practice.

He has prepared and prosecuted patent applications with an emphasis in the computer hardware, software, data management, and data science arts. Mr. Pullum's other Intellectual Property Law practice areas include Trademarks, Copyrights, Sports Law, and Entertainment Law. He worked in the technical and business sides of Corporate America for over 27 years before entering the practice of law.

 

Attorney Pullum graduated from the Texas A&M School of Law in Fort Worth, TX with a concentration in Intellectual Property. He received his Master’s in Management with a specialization in Project Management from CTU Online. His undergraduate degree in Computer Science with a Scientific option is from Southern University Baton Rouge. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Pullum worked as a Systems Engineer for AT&T Big Data, an instructor for University of Phoenix, and began his technical career as a Software Engineer for IBM Storage Systems. Mr. Pullum is a member of the State Bar of Texas. He is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
